This Agreement will be governed by and interpreted according to the law of the state of Grenada. All disputes arising under the Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Grenadian courts.

We also determine your location (country) based on your IP address at the time of registration to show on your profile. You can at any time choose to change your location (country, city or region) under “My Account > Address” in your theveryting.com account.
We collect and use your personal data for this purpose until your theveryting.com account is deactivated or inactive for 2 years, which ever occurs first.
TO AUTHENTICATE YOU VIA FACEBOOK OR GOOGLE SOCIAL LOGINS
If you register your Google Ireland Ltd. (Ireland), Google LLC (USA) (“Google”) or Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Ireland), Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA) (“Facebook”) account or later on decide to connect your Facebook or Google account to your theveryting.com account, you will be transferred from our Platform to the website of Facebook or Google and asked to enter the log-in details for your Facebook or Google account.

TO PRIORITISE GOOD QUALITY LISTINGS BY REPUTABLE SELLERS (SERVICE PROVIDERS AND PRODUCT-SELLERS)
Even if you are part of the Veryfied program, in order to determine whether you as a seller offer good quality items and are a reputable seller we will collect and use the following data of you when you sell your items on the Platform:
- Number of positive reviews;
- Information whether the seller has items that are cheaper than 60% of similar items sold on our Platform (similarity is determined according to item category, brand and condition).
We use results to prioritise good quality items by reputable sellers when showing items to new members, increase the visibility of items listed by new members, items that are discounted, boosted items, items that have been newly posted by existing members, items that are being sponsored, and when showing relevant items on our Platform.
Legal basis for such collection and use is our legitimate interest to prioritise good quality items by reputable sellers in order to facilitate sales and member satisfaction our Platform. We collect and use your personal data for this purpose until the deactivation of your theveryting.com or for 2 years of inactivity on your account.
TO SUGGEST YOU RELEVANT ITEMS
If you choose to create item listings on our Platform, we will collect and use data that you provide in the listing by analysing it in order to either offer members that visit your items other relevant items or offer members your items that may be relevant to them.
Legal basis for such collection and use is our legitimate interest to improve our Platform and ensure that our members receive relevant suggestions and search results. We collect and use your personal data for this purpose until the deactivation of your theveryting.com or for 2 years of inactivity on your account.
TO IMPROVE SEARCH RESULTS ON OUR PLATFORM
We collect and use data provided in the listings (see above statement on “TO ENABLE YOU TO LIST YOUR ITEMS”) about items with no information related to sellers in order to improve search results by evaluating how relevant are certain items to a specific search keyword and to automatically suggest relevant categories for new listings. For this, we only use the item listing with no link to a particular seller.
Legal basis for such collection and use is our legitimate interest to improve our Platform and ensure that our members receive relevant suggestions and search results. The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. uses service providers who provide data analysis services to The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. . We collect and use your personal data for this purpose until the deactivation of your theveryting.com or for 2 years of inactivity on your account.
TO HELP YOU GET MORE ATTENTION TO YOUR LISTINGS
In the event that you decide to make orders for extra services, i.e. Veryfied program and “Boosted” items (via paid advertisements) in order to get more visibility for your items on our Platform, we collect and use the following data:
- Your profile information
- Extra services you bought;
- Items you selected for extra services;
- Duration of extra services;
- Date and time of extra services you bought;
- Price of extra services;
- Payments information;
- Invoices;
- Statistics of your items during extra services usage.
Legal basis for the collection and use of data is the performance of a contract (your order for extra features under T&C) to which you are a party. Personal data are required to perform a contract (T&C) with you. In case you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to conclude and execute a contract (T&C) with you. We collect and use your personal data for this purpose until the deactivation of your theveryting.com or for 2 years of inactivity on your account.
TO SUGGEST A PRICE WHEN AN ITEM LISTING IS CREATED
If you choose to create an item listing on our Platform, our team will analyse its price in addition to item category , item brand and item condition. We will then use that information to show you pictures and prices of similar items sold in the last three months in order to to help you determine the selling price for your item.
If your chosen selling price is bigger than the price range of similar items sold on our Platform in the last three (3) months, The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. will also give you a tip regarding the recommended price range.
Legal basis for such collection and use is our legitimate interest to help our members to choose the right price for their items.
To achieve the aforementioned functionality, we collect and use pictures and prices of items sold in the last three (3) months.
When you are listing your items, we collect and use the information used to analyse your items for the duration of the item listing process. When you sell items, we collect and use the data mentioned above for three (3) months after the item has been sold.
TO ENABLE NOTIFICATIONS ABOUT YOUR WISH-LISTED OR FAVOURED ITEMS
If you choose to create an item listed by another member on our Platform, The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. will inform you when your wish-listed or favoured item is reduced or when the item is sold. For this reason, we will collect and use the following data:
- Title of the wish-listed or favoured item;
- Photo of the wish-listed item;
- Seller of the wish-listed item;
- Price of the wish-listed item;
- Information whether a wish-listed or favourite item is sold;
- Information about reduced price.
Legal basis for such collection and use is the legitimate interest of our members and The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. to facilitate sales on our Platform. We collect and use your personal data for this purpose until the deactivation of your theveryting.com or for 2 years of inactivity on your account.
TO NOTIFY SELLERS WHEN YOU WISH-LIST THEIR ITEMS
If you wish-list or favoured an item on our Platform, The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. will inform the seller that you have wish-listed their item.
Legal basis for such collection and use is the legitimate interest of our members and The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. to facilitate sales on our Platform. You can disable the aforementioned notifications by logging on our App, visiting “My Account” and changing the push notification settings. We collect and use your personal data for this purpose until the deactivation of your theveryting.com or for 2 years of inactivity on your account.
TO ALLOW YOU TO FOLLOW SELLERS OR STORES
If you follow a seller who has listed a new item, discounted an existing listing, or announced other offers on our Platform, we will notify you about it via email.

TO IMPROVE OUR PLATFORM
The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. is committed to the best performance of our Platform. When our Platform is being used, The Very Ting (Grenada) gathers information about actions performed on our Platform (button clicks, visiting time, page views, other information depending on a particular business case) and other data described above in order to help us make decisions on how to improve our Platform and make it a better experience for our members.

In order to understand our users’ needs and improve your experience on our Platform, we conduct on-site interviews with you. For this reason, we collect and use the following data:

SECTION 2.2 TO ENABLE SHIPMENT OF ITEMS PURCHASED ON OUR PLATFORM
The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. strives to make the shipping of items purchased on our Platform as smooth and convenient as possible by offering shipping methods on our Platform.
Most of your personal data are required to perform a contract (T&C) with you. In case you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to conclude and execute a contract (T&C) with you.
This data is also used for the improvement of our Platform in order to make it a better experience for our members.
TO ENABLE YOU TO SHIP OR RECEIVE ITEMS
If you choose to enter your shipping information when you buy, sell or barter items, we collect and use the following data that you provide for dispatch and shipping purposes:
- Full name;
- Parish;
- Town;
- Address;
- Telephone number;
- E-mail address;
- Signature;
- Address of the drop off point of the parcel;
- Tracking the number of the parcel;
- Confirmation of delivery of the parcel;
- Other shipping information required by a particular shipping service provider.
Legal basis for the collection and use of data is the performance of a contract (T&C) to which you are party. Personal data are required to perform a contract (T&C) with you. In case you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to conclude and execute a contract (T&C) with you.
Otherwise, it is up to the seller to follow the instructions and provide your data to the shipping provider.
Personal data collected and used for this purpose are kept for 5 years.
TO TRACK YOUR PARCEL
When you buy, sell or barter items on our Platform, we collect and use the following data for shipment tracking purposes:
- Date and time of delivery of the parcel;
- Tracking number of the parcel;
- Address;
- Location of the parcel.
Legal basis for the collection and use of data is the performance of a contract (T&C) to which you are a party. Personal data are required to perform a contract (T&C) with you. In case you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to conclude and execute a contract (T&C) with you.
Personal data collected and used for this purpose are kept for 5 years.
SECTION 2.3 TO CONDUCT MARKETING ACTIVITIES
The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. strives to involve our members in marketing campaigns that benefits our members, and are of relevance.
TO SEND YOU MARKETING MATERIAL EMAILS
You can register for our newsletter and for other Marketing Emails. When you register, we will ask you for your permission to use your email address for the purposes of sending you Marketing Emails containing the latest information on our products and services, especially with regard to goods or services available on our Platform, special offers and marketing campaigns. If you do not give your consent when registering, you can at any time change your mind and agree to receive Marketing Emails by subscribing to our newsletter. on your theveryting.com account.
We base such collection and use your consent.
Your permission for the sending of Marketing Emails can be given and withdrawn by you at any time with future effect. In your theveryting.com account, you can adjust your settings to choose what emails you wish to receive or disable the sending of any further Marketing Emails. Alternatively, you can click “Unsubscribe” at the end of the Marketing Email. Withdrawal of permission will not affect the lawfulness of the collection and use carried out prior to the withdrawal of permission.
In order to send Marketing Emails, The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. uses service provider Mailchimp (USA) which is established outside the European Economic Area. In this case the personal data is protected by the service provider entering into the EU standard contractual clauses for the transfer of data as approved by the European Commission.

TO PERSONALISE MARKETING MESSAGES
The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. will use the data used to register you on our Platform and related to your theveryting.com account, the data on your forum activity, your log files and other means to personalise marketing messages and advertisements presented to you.

TO CONTACT YOU FOR PUBLICITY AND/OR EARNING OPPORTUNITIES
If you register on our Platform, we may contact you via e-mail or our Platform’s messaging system to offer you to share your content (e.g. pictures) on our social media profiles, or to participate in our marketing campaigns, or to have your details shared with the media, or for other publicity and/or earning opportunities. This is done in order to ensure that only members who give their consent would be featured on our social media profiles or provided with other publicity and/or earning opportunities.
We base such collection and use on our legitimate interest to increase the publicity of you and The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. and/or provide you with earning possibilities.
If you consent, we may check your profile information to ensure that only members who have a good reputation (i.e. comply with the T&C) are offered publicity and/or earning opportunities by us. The collection and use of your personal data for this purpose will be based on your consent.
If you consent to participate in publicity and/or earning opportunities offered by us, the further collection and use of your personal data will be based on your consent.
If you sign a contract with The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. related to the publicity and/or earning opportunity, the collection and use of your personal data will be based on a contract between The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. and you.
We collect and use your personal data for this purpose until the deactivation of your theveryting.com account or for 2 years of inactivity on your account. Messages themselves are deleted after 12 months.
TO CONDUCT ADVERTISEMENT CAMPAIGNS INVOLVING YOU
If you consent to participate in our advertisement campaigns, we will use your telephone number to contact you with a proposal to participate in our advertisement campaign and give you more details about the project.
If you sign a contract with The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd. related to the advertising campaign, we will collect and use the following data for the purpose of completing and performing a contract between you and The Very Ting (Grenada) Ltd.:

- Nationality;
- Information about your business certificate or individual business activity.

TO ENABLE US TO POST YOUR CONTENT ON OUR SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS
If you allow us, we will post your content on our social media accounts for marketing and public relations purposes. We base such collection and use on your consent.
You can, at any time, give and retract your consent by logging in on the Platform, visiting My Account and changing the relevant settings. In order to post your content on our social media accounts, we provide data to social media platform operators. TO ENABLE REGISTRATION ON OUR PLATFORM
When you register as a member on our Platform, you must provide the following data in order to carry out the registration procedure and access your theveryting.com account:
- User name (necessary when you register without a Social login such as Facebook or Google account);
- Email address;
- Confirmation that you are 18 years of age or over;
- Password (necessary when you register without a Social login such as Facebook or Google account);
Legal basis for the collection and use of data is the performance of a contract (T&C) to which you are party or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (T&C).
We also determine your location (country) based on your IP address at the time of registration to show on your profile. You can at any time choose to change your location (country, city or region) under “My Account > Address” in your theveryting.com account.
We collect and use your personal data for this purpose until your theveryting.com account is deactivated or inactive for 2 years, which ever occurs first.
